📰 What's New in the Codex
A running log of releases. The Codex checks for new chapters daily and runs a full data refresh every Sunday. Bigger feature drops are noted here.
v1.0.1
Current Through Elbaph
2026-07-12
The unglamorous release: we found and fixed the bug that had quietly frozen the weekly data refresh since launch. The Codex is now current through Chapter 1188 — and will stay current, because the fix was to the pipeline, not just the data.
- Data caught up — chapters 1182–1188 scraped: appearances, canon facts, debut gating, and the Atlas grid all now cover Elbaph's latest.
- Self-updating freshness — the Spoiler Guard's "I'm caught up" ceiling, the release-map dates, and the Atlas's open arc now track the newest scraped chapter automatically instead of relying on hand-bumped numbers.
- Devil Fruit fixes — five fruit pages (Mero Mero, Nikyu Nikyu, Sui Sui, Supa Supa, Uo Uo Seiryu) no longer render their natural user and Seraphim copy as one concatenated name.
- Theory archive hardening — the theory refresher now merges new Reddit posts into the curated archive instead of replacing it, and refuses to write anything on a failed fetch.
- Daily freshness — the refresh now runs every day (fast chapter probe) with a full deep refresh on Sundays, so new chapters land within a day of their wiki page appearing.
- Honesty pass — Theory Forge and Trivia Trial are unlinked from the site until they're genuinely ready: theory verdicts need human review, and the quiz needs proper spoiler-gating. Both pages say so plainly if you visit them directly.
